County Youth Office

Minors under the age of 18, entering Germany without a German citizenship and a legal guardian, are seen as foreign unaccompanied minors. This group receives special protection. The responsibility for unaccompanied minor foreigners in the district of Meißen lies with the District Youth Office. The unaccompanied minor foreigners are taken into custody by the district youth office according to the provisions of the Child and Youth Protection Act (SGB VIII).
